Hitmen take down the Bad News Bears in typical close game fashion. Jason Edwards (AKA Mississippi) was on the hill dealing a very low scoring affair. Jason went 9 strong innings giving up only 3 runs on 6 hits to lead the Hitmen to a 5 - 3 win over their long time rival's. The game was close all throughout with the Hitmen only having a 3 - 1 lead into the 6th. Mikey and Mr. Root got the charge started in the 7th driving in 2 more runs that would be the deciding factor in a very tight ball game.

The Hitmen can accredit this win to sound defense all throughout. Fast Eddy had 5 putouts with nearly a pair of double plays. Mr. Root, Mikey and Dirty Bird Chris locked down the outfield with great catches throughout. Buttercup made some great grabs at first with the sun barring down for most of the game. Both George and B-Ran made all there plays with ease as well.

Big ups to Brandon Wartella behind the dish making great calls and leading Jason to the charge of a 9 inning affair.

Hitmen look to send their team to the Championship game after this weekend for the first time in their 4 year existence!
