The season is fast approaching its end and the Hitmen look to end the season as strong as they started it. The Hitmen beat the Bad News Bears 17 - 7 on Sunday August 17th. George was on the hill for 6 solid innings giving up 4 earned runs with 5 strick outs over 5 hits. Mikey hit the ball solid for the day going 2 for 2, adding 2 HBP, stealing 3 bases and providing 3 runs. The Hitmen played well as LA came in during the 7th to shut down the Bears.

The Hitmen take on the Orioles for their final season game this coming weekend. Manny will be on the hill! Go get em Manny!

It is definitly bittersweet as the season fast approaches its end but the Hitmen look to get back to the playoffs after a 2 year drought!
