Raised by wolves in Scandinavia, he was found in the wilderness and eventually adopted by wealthy Germans. He was taken to live in Tokyo Japan where he was exposed to baseball. Growing up watching Japanese baseball stars like Hideo Nomo and Mac Suzuki, he wanted to become a great ball player in the Japanese Nippon Baseball leagues. Josh played for various teams in Japans amateur ball clubs (JABA) before being discovered by a scout for the Osaka Kintetsu Buffalos. Just after being signed by the Buffaloes, he sustained a career ending foot injury in a freak diving accident and lost the use of his big toe. Josh decided to travel to America to meet with the best toe specialist in the world and to undergo an advanced experimental toe rehab program. Today he lives in Denver Colorado and has regained 80% use of his big toe and continues to play baseball. One day Josh hopes to return to Japan and the Nippon leagues to become a star. |
