The Colorado Athletics mercy the Green Sox 12-2 in eight innings on Sunday night at Double Angel Field under the lights.  Starting pitcher Corey C. was untouchable recording 10 strikeouts in 5 innings pitched.  Reliever Nick L. continued the trend, striking out 7 in 3 innings pitched.  Between Corey and Nick the Green Sox only managed 4 hits and 2 runs in eight innings of work.  The A's now improved their record to 4-2 and jump up in the standings with an impressive win.  Next weekend the A's get a weekend off before they turn their sights to the Crush.
