With the season only a few weeks away, the Colorado Bombers have been putting in significant time at the hitting cages at Batter's Box in Englewood. The practices began on January 8th and have been held almost every week since that time with a good number of Bombers players making it for most or all of the sessions. It's been a good time for the team to meet and get to know the new players that have joined the Bombers since last season.
New players on the roster include, Sherman Lodge, an Infielder and Pitcher, Chris Schneider who will do some pitching as well, Keith Lohse, who returns to the team after a 2 year absence on the Western Slope, and Jeremy Sparks who comes to the team with great credentials as a former college baseball player for the California Bears. Many of the returning players have spent time at the cages as well including Jeff Brooks, Bob Prashaw, Dennis White, Tony Walsh, Andy Philemon, Eric Meyer, Bill MacDonald and Kyle
