SLOTHS NEVER GIVE UP!

It was probably the greatest comeback in all of baseball history or at least maybe the greatest comeback in NABA history. It was Epic!

The Hops were up on the Sloths all game. They started out putting up 6 easy runs in the 2nd inning and just kept on adding runs all game, The Sloths started a small rally mid game and managed to score a few but just couldn't get a solid streak going.

The Score was 11-4 going into the bottom of the 9th. The Hops had the game in the bag. The Sloths managed to get a few runners on base after a couple walks. A few singles were hit to drive in those runners.  With 2 outs and still down 4 runs, the Sloths dug deep and pulled out some solid base hits to tie up the game.

Don Case came up to bat and slapped a chopper that the 3rd baseman couldn't handle. He was safe at 1st and Dave Miller scored the winning walk-off run.

The Hops were stunned and the Sloths' dugout erupted in a crazy celebration of their first walk-off win and an unbelievable comeback in a playoff game. Final Score, Sloths 12, Hops 11.

The Hops season is over and the Sloths move on to the semi-finals to face the Dirtbags one final time to determine who moves on to the Championship.

HOPS BUNT FOR BIG INNING IN WIN OVER SLOTHS

Hani started out hot for the Sloths, shutting down a few batters early and getting most of em to bite on the wicked slider and high heat. The Hops just couldn't hang with his stuff early on.

A fluke dinger gave the Hops the early lead and then the Sloths answered with a run and made it a ball game.

The Sloths easily managed to get a couple more runs on the board but the Hops made some adjustments and came out bunting and constantly subbing in new batters to try and make something happen.

The Hops bunting and subbing strategy worked, and they were able to get a few runs across. The Hops managed a few more hits that got past Sloths defenders. A few past balls scored more runs for Hops and they continued to sub in new batters who were able to move runners along. The Sloths just couldn't put together a rally to answer.

Final score Sloths 3, Hops 13.

The Sloths should get a chance for redemption soon. They move on to take on the Cutthroats and Tribe this weekend.
