After 4 weeks off, team is anxious to play Sunday

Denver. CO  The Colorado Aces have had a very strange spring thus far getting to play baseball.  They played opening day on April 12th and haven't played since.  They had two rainouts, a bye week and an off week for Mother's Day.  That is supposed to change this Sunday as they are scheduled to take the field at 4:00 P.M. at Denver North High School against the 2-0 Spartans.

Weather reports aren't particularly encouraging as they list the possibility for afternoon thunderstorms on Sunday but the team is holding out hope that the weather stays away and they can finally get a game in.

The Spartans have beaten the Mudcats 12-2 and the Black Sox 18-3 so they have been very good in the two games they have played thus far.  Just to remind everyone, the Aces won their opener 16-6 over the Shockers all those weeks ago!

Should be a good contest if Mother Nature allows the game to be played and no storms roll through.  We are all keeping our fingers crossed that the weather cooperates.
